In the beginning of 2009, a study of the purchase flow in the CityCentrum has shown that the visitors of the CityCentrum are more and more of international origin. As we highly appreciate this development, we have decided not only to serve our Dutch public,
but also to orientate ourselves towards our international customers.
That is why we are proud to introduce the website of CityCentrum Veldhoven in English!
You are from now on able to find any information regarding shops, activities, routes etc. on this website in English. In addition, most of the retailers have placed a short introduction of their activities on the website under the section “Stores”. When selecting a branch you will find a brief description of the location, history and specialities of the store in question.
We also have a nice section with photos of all kinds of activities organised during the past two years, such as Valentine’s day and Halloween. These activities are accessible for all children, so we are more than pleased to welcome the international “small visitors”
as well.

Veldhoven part of the Smartest Region in the world
Brainport in the Eindhoven area is the smartest region in the world!
Brainport as such has a very high peformance. This region is the industrial hightech centre of the Netherlands. Technology and design are the basis for this achievement.
Brainport is one of the pillars of the Dutch economy together with Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Brainport region Eindhoven has been voted the "Intelligent Community of the year 2011" by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) in New York.
That is why we can call ourselves the smartest region in the world. The reaction of the mayor of Veldhoven, Mr. Jack Mikkers: ".....
